Tiny Homes is an Auxiliary Dwelling Unit (ADU) company founded by a local architect, builder, and real estate developer. We specialize in ADUs custom designed to match your existing real estate or enhance it. Everything we do is with the intent to add value and enhance the living experience on your property.

The rules have changed. In most situations, if you own a single-family home on a single-family lot, you are now allowed to build a free-standing tiny home in your backyard.

Many of our competitors are serving this market by making cheap, inexpensive structures to meet the mass market. Tiny Homes provides upscale small homes, garages, pool houses, office structures, and recreational spaces - for families with distinguished real estate who want a structure that enhances their property. Our buildings are designed to match your architectural style or enhance it.

You don't live in a cheap home. We're not providing you a cheap ADU. We have plenty of custom options to fit most budgets.

What is an ADU?

An Auxiliary Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a self-contained residential structure built on the same lot as a primary single-family home. It has its own entrance, living space, and full bathroom. ADUs go by many names: backyard cottage, in-law suite, carriage house, pool house, or guest house. What makes them distinct is that they sit on an already-occupied residential property and are fully permitted and legal.

It has recently become easier for single-family homeowners to add an ADU to their property. If you own your home and your lot, you likely qualify.
